- 2 (6-8 oz / 170-225 g) salmon filets
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) honey
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce (or Worcestershire sauce)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) rice vinegar (or distilled vinegar)
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley or cilantro for garnish
- 1 large lemon, sliced or cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment, or lightly oil an oven-safe skillet or baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic. Add the salmon to the marinade and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet or dish and drizzle some of the remaining marinade over the filets.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the salmon reaches your desired doneness.
- Pour any remaining sauce from the baking sheet over the salmon. Garnish with cracked black pepper and chopped parsley or cilantro. Serve with lemon wedges.
