I publish new recipes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays — but I missed yesterday because I twisted my knee. It’s a minor injury and I’m back to share another simple, healthy vegan recipe. Being vegan and eating well can be easy and enjoyable; these immune-boosting ginger shots are a great example.
During cold season, small habits can help support your immune system: eat well, stay active, and consider a concentrated immune-boosting shot. These ginger shots pack flavor and nourishing ingredients. They’re alcohol-free, naturally anti-inflammatory, and a tasty alternative to alcoholic shots.

You only need a juicer or blender and four main ingredients: apple, lemons, ginger and turmeric. These shots are quick to prepare and make a handy natural remedy to help prevent or ease cold symptoms and reduce inflammation.
Cheers — to your health!

Tips:
- If you don’t have fresh ginger or turmeric, ground versions work. Make juice from the apple and lemons, pour into a jar, then stir in ground ginger and turmeric.
- Additions like cayenne powder can help clear mucus. You can also experiment with other fruits or leafy greens for variety.
- If you don’t own a juicer, use a blender: combine the ingredients with some water and blend until smooth, then strain if you prefer a clearer shot.
